What is a SILHOUETTE INSTALIFT?
Silhouette InstaLift is a simple procedure to re-contour your face, lifting the deeper layers of your skin for a more youthful appearance. It uses threads with cones, which are made from PLLA and PGLA which is similar to Sculptra. These threads are made with PLLA cones to offer better lifting and volume with making new type 1 collagen.
Who performs the procedure at ShanthalaMD?
Your physician Dr. Shanthala, will discuss whether this technique is suitable for you and will create a treatment plan to ensure you achieve the results you desire. During the procedure, the physician will use sutures with bidirectional cones to reposition and elevate the skin on your face. The in-office procedure typically takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. You will see immediate results and have minimal recovery time after the procedure.
Is it painful? Do you need anesthesia?
This is a simple, painless 45 mins procedure, does not require general anesthesia. Our physician will inject local anesthesia before performing the thread lift.
Does it have any downtime?
NO. You might experience minimal swelling or a bruise which can be resolved on its own.
Is it equal to a surgical facelift?
NO. The instalift can improve the appearance of sagging by repositioning the tissue.
