Laser-Coring vs. Ultherapy and Sofwave – What’s the Difference?

UltraClear is different from Ultherapy & Sofwave:  Ultraclear Laser, Ultherapy, and Sofwave are all non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatments, but they use different technologies and address different concerns.

Read more about UltraClear Laser FAQ. Ultraclear Laser is a cold fiber laser resurfacing treatment that creates microscopic channels in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. It effectively treats dyschromia, pigmentation, scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture, deep wrinkles, and fine lines—concerns that Ultherapy and Sofwave cannot fully address. In contrast, Ultherapy and Sofwave use ultrasound technology to tighten and lift the skin. Ultherapy penetrates deeper, making it ideal for significant laxity, while Sofwave works at a shallower depth (1.5mm) for mild laxity. Unlike these ultrasound-based treatments, Ultraclear Laser provides comprehensive skin resurfacing benefits but has more downtime.

Is Laser-Coring the Same as RF Microneedling or Aggressive Microneedling?

No — microneedling uses heated needles to puncture skin; laser-coring uses light energy for more precise & controlled ablation and collagen stimulation. They are completely different technologies with differences in depth control, precision, downtime, and results.

Multimodal approach in a single session with Laser-Coring, Subcision, and Biostimulators Such as Sculptra or Radiesse.

How to combine PRP or platelet-rich plasma with Laser Coring?

How topical Exosomes immediately after LaserCoring is more effective?

Yes, Exosomes and Laser Coring with Ultraclear Laser can be combined for enhanced results. When used after Laser Coring, exosomes promote better absorption due to reduced bleeding, unlike traditional mechanical tissue coring methods like Ellacor, where excessive bleeding can hinder absorption.

• Ultraclear’s laser-assisted drug delivery (LADD) allows exosomes to penetrate the skin more effectively, maximizing their regenerative benefits.
